Will I save time if I get my medical records and bring them to the lawyer?

A: When we review a case, we need the medical records.  It can take as many as 6 months to get all of the records necessary although that is usually the outside time limit.  Sometimes it can be much faster but it can take two months to get everything processed.  Many times some of the records will come in illegible and the process has to start over again.  If you get the records, we can sometimes give you an opinion about your case at the first meeting.  While it is not critical for you to get your records, if you're contemplating getting a lawyer you can get your records in advance and that will be a big help.
