Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why should I keep papers given to me when I leave the doctor or the hospital?

A: Some times in a malpractice case, doctors and nurses make claims that just are not true.  Discharge instructions from the hospital are orders given to the patient when he or she leaves the hospital.   On a recent case, the discharge instructions given to the patient were different than the discharge instructions reflected in the hospital chart.  This casts a large black cloud over the credibiltiy of anything the hospital's employees say regarding the whole incident.
Keep your papers!  They may make the difference between winning and losing.
