What expenses will I be expected to pay for?
A: Generally, you can expect to pay for the following:
1. The police report - $5-$15. If there are photos or supplemental reports, extra.
2. Medical records are usually $25-$50 for each health care provider.
3. Court costs for filing the lawsuit are any from $100-$350 depending on the venue.
4. Depositions, sworn statements with a court reporter, $200-$500 each depending on the length of a deposition.
