
A: The general rule in a laproscopic surgery is that you shoud know where you are cutting. Sometimes there is a mistake and a vessel is cut and it was not intended. Generally, if the mistake is a risk of the surgery and many times an inadvertant injury is not a case. The exception is when symptoms exist from the mistake and they are not timely attended to or diagnosed before bad complications appear.
