Confidential Settlment for Missed Stroke

Plaintiff was taken emergently to St. Louis County Hospital. Paramedic daughter thought mom was having a trans ischemic attack. Emergency room doctor thought so too and ordered battery of exams. Carotid doppler not performed and client sent home. Had massive stroke several months later and is paralyzed and aphasic. Case settled against doctors and is pending against hospital.
