Confidential Settlement On Behalf of Two Daughters Who Lost Their Father To Cancer

Decedent presented to doctor with a  neck mass that showed some early suspicious signs of cancer.   The physician suggested no follow up.  One year later he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that had spread to his liver and leg.  It was determined that the neck was the primary site and he unfortunatley died.  An expert was consulted in the filed of head and neck cancer.  He concluded that the original physcian was negligent in failing to instruct the decedent to seek additional testing such as a biopsy.  The case settled within one month of the expert being retained.
