This tragedy could've been prevented had any of the drivers involved been paying attention. Van was tboned at intersection when 15 year old driver with permit ran stop sign while on cell phone. Driver who did the tboning on his cell phone as well. Everybody really badly hurt. Case settled for all available insurance although the recovery was for a fraction of what case was worth.
