The Distracted Driving Act Of 2009

It's about time!  The Feds want to enact some legislation to punish states who still let people text while driving.  While it is dangerous and impulsive to drive and use a keyboard, there's no doubt that who ever does it is trying to put a fire out with gasoline.  How stupid is this.  You take your eyes off the road to read your email.  Come on!  Remember when we didn't even have email?  We all used drums to send messages thorough the hills.  Seriously, this is good legislation and I urge you to write your representative in favor of this much needed legislation.   A texting ban would be good karma.
