Hospital Staff Not Likely to Report Errors

ABC News reports that 80 percent of hospital errors go unreported.  The report found no difference between the number of serious errors, like patient deaths, versus smaller errors, like allergic reactions, being reported.
It is important to remember that when receiving medical care, listening to doctor and medical care provider advice is crucial.  But it is also your life and your body, and should you have any concerns or questions, you have every right to ask.  Furthermore, if you are not satisfied, press until you receive an answer that you understand.
