Feds Consider Gas Funds For Bike Paths

There is a movement to increase Federal funding for bicyclists and walkers.   As green methods of transportation, more money will be available in the future for the making and maintenance of bicycle lanes.  Write your representatives in support of this.  For the detractors who say gas tax money shouldn't be used for bikers because bicyclists don't pay the tax, tell them to get a grip.  Does gambling money from the boats go to the schools because the children gamble.  Does all the cigarette tax money go to medical care because all people smoke?  Of course not.
