Don't Tell Tales To The Court

Today my opponent asked for a continuance on a case that had been on the docket for a year.  He said he had a conflict with another case set in another court.  He forgot to tell the court that my case was older, was set for trial first and that he had also filed a motion to continue the other case.  Boy was the judge irritated. He denied the motion and I think that lawyer has lost credibility with the court for the rest of the case.  We will see.
