Ever text while driving? Ever see a car right in front of you with your brakes on that appeared out of nowhere just as you hit the send button and looked up? As well intentioned as you are you are lucky that you haven't killed or hurt anybody. Our legislature has again failed to pass a bill regulating texting while driving. On the national scene, the Department of Transportation has made distracted drving a top priority. I guess our legislature was too busy changing the name of the Mark Magwire Highway, to do something meaingful that made sense. In any event, put your Blackberry away when you drive. The life you save may be your own.
